This Valentine’s Day, we’re putting our hearts into every bite… literally! This Heart-Shaped Pizza is fun to make, oh-so-tasty, and the perfect way to share some love with your favorite people. Who’s ready for a pizza party?

Ingredients

Pizza dough:

500g baker’s flour, plus extra for dusting

2tsp fast action yeast

2tbsp olive oil

2-3 tsp salt

300ml tepid water

Toppings:

Passata

Cheese of choice

Basil

Olives (optional)

Instructions

1. Combine the flour, yeast, olive oil, salt and water, until just combined.

2. Knead the dough on a floured worktop for 5 minutes, until dough is smooth and elastic. Transfer to oiled bowl, cover with a sheet cling film and set aside until doubled in size

3. Divide the dough into four. Flour your work surface and using a rolling pin and your hands, roll a piece of dough into a circle.

4. Stretch the circle into a heart shape - pinch and pull the top two corners

Instructions

1.       Transfer each pizza base to a floured baking sheet.

2.        Spread with 1tbsp tomato sauce

3.       Add toppings - olives, marinated artichoke, cheese of choice, basil

4.       Bake at 230C for 10 minutes.

5.       Garnish with fresh basil!
