Fighting for Edwina
When Edwina was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma at just two years old, her parents faced the unimaginable. The journey was long, painful, and uncertain. With no standard treatment available for this rare and aggressive cancer, Edwina endured an exhausting 18-month regimen of chemotherapy, radiation, stem cell transplants, and immunotherapy.
Each day was a battle, but Edwina’s spirit never wavered.
Thanks to breakthroughs in cancer research, Edwina is now a thriving 10-year-old, cancer-free and embracing a future full of possibility. Families like the Thomas’ are living proof of how research, and the donors who make it possible, can change lives.
