Fighting to #Forkcancer
Trish (pictured left) is a seventh-time Longest Table host and is ready to cook up another forktastic event!
Trish’s battle to #ForkCancer is personal. She was only 46 when she found a lump in her breast, turning her life into a rollercoaster ride of appointments with doctors, nurses, psychologists and countless treatments that helped her to keep fighting.
Trish was lucky to have a targeted therapy available to her that saved her life. Thanks to incredible researchers working hard in their labs we have access to brilliant treatments like Trish’s, but we still need more.
“Hosting a Longest Table gives me a chance to give back to those who gave me my life back. There is no guarantee my cancer won’t come back, but I am not waiting for it that’s for sure! I try and live everyday as if it’s my last.”
Trish, The Longest Table host and Ambassador since 2016.
