This July, I'm hosting a Longest Table to raise money for life-changing cancer research. Sadly, almost 444 Australians are diagnosed with cancer every day - that's 74 friends, parents, workmates and kids during the time it takes to host a meal.

In Memory of Rachel Pickett
Wednesday 24th Jul Rachel was one of my pottery students, her long battle with cancer touched us all. I felt participating in The Longest Table to support the fight against cancer was a wonderful way to honour her memory. During her brave fight to beat cancer, she selflessly worked for the charity sobrave.com.au to help and support others. We will remember her as a wonderful young woman taken way too young.
